Decided to clear out the back room of all the bits that people have been asking me for.
We have a few thousand dollars worth of kits available, including some serious Apocalypse conversions
Also we have a short supply of forge world items
These items are very limited, so everything is on a first-come, first serve basis, just to be clear: I cannot save things for anyone, for any amount of time.
Hobby Ninja INC closed several years ago, but I've never stopped loving the games and experiences and people.

Star Wars X-Wing
Today we got the first batch of Star Wars X-Wing
The are probably the best pre-painted minis I've ever seen!
I've always been impressed by Fantasy Flight's production quality but these are particularly impressive
I really do like tactical combat games, but this one lets me go into full Star Wars fanboy mode: be prepared to take the full brunt of my incessant movie quotations!
Tomorrow we will be running intro games ALL DAY LONG yeah!
Here's some pics:

Ravnica!!!!
We have it back in stock FINALLY!!!
Due to difficulties in obtaining this specific kind of stock we will temporarily be limiting use of store credit for purchasing packs and use on limited events - Customers accounts with store credit can use it to purchase 1 pack of Ravnica total per day (whether it is to be used as part of a limited event or not) you are still welcome to purchase non-ravnica packs, sleeves, boxes, and singles with store credit.)
Now... On to fun stuff
Here's my 'Azorius' Deck,
It got WAY better with the inclusion of the silver blade paladins,
The lands are pretty standard fare, 7 islands, 7 plains, 2 glacial fortresses 2 Azorius guildgates, and 2 hallowed fountains
I loaded up on enchantments mostly because of ethereal armour, I think that card is fantastic and I'm a big fan anything that gets better because something else gets better but even if it doesn't its still good on its own,
4 ethereal armour, 4 detention spheres, 4 bonds of faith, 2 sphere of safety, 2 curse of exhaustion, and I just put in a curse of the bloody tome (mostly to mess with deck-arranging shenanigans) I recently took out Sphinx 's revelation because I noticed I never have it when I need it and I never need it when I have it...
As far as creatures go, I took 4 judges familiar, 4 lyev Skyknight, 3 Azorious Arresters, 4 silver blade paladins, and 4 New Prav guild mages
It's been pretty good so far, I've had a bit of a love-hate relationship with syncopate, because I've noticed all my opponents simply leave one more mana than i have available. i tried subbing in essence scatter when i was having creature problems, but it seemed creatures weren't the problem then, so i swapped them for negate, I'm trying out some dissipates for now but there are some cards I really want to include, mostly curiosity, and I WISH I could use the archons of the triumvirate, and righteous authority... If only they were a little cheaper...

Risk: Legacy
Every once in a while I hear about a game that's really unique, most of the time, they are innovations that come off as really 'gimmicky'. On rare occasions there is an innovation that really wows me; enter Risk Legacy.
This game takes risk to a really unusual place; the first couple games you play will change THE WAY you play future games, it's like customizing your own risk board but your victories and defeats will determine your options.
Looking at the box there's a bunch of sealed packets that only get to be opened when certain conditions are met.
The most interesting part is the fact that all changes you and your friends make are PERMANENT most notably reinforced by the seal on the box saying 'what's done can never be undone'
The playing pieces are really nice for a risk game and each colour boasts unique models with distinct appearances the green looking very tribal with forearm blades, the tan faction has a very 'Dune - Fremen' appearance, purple looks similar to palpatine's royal guard with red towing the ubiquitous power armoured soldier line and grey filling the generic colonial soldier role.
Very cool concept, very VERY cool execution.

L5R Tuesday, and pumpkins
Typically L5R is very popular on Tuesday but it seems Space Alert has enthralled our regular L5R players, causing no less than 22 deaths! Yup we failed 4 missions before we survived 1!
Regardless a good time was had by all and my ONI deck for L5R was able to put another notch in its belt, if there's one thing I learned from today; it's horrible monsters always win, so BE a horrible monster
And tomorrow if you stop by check out our lovely pumpkin! (Soon to be carved)

Opening up open fire
So a local celebrity around here stopped by mr. Mike Num, with his shiny baby daughter Lillian and being a flames of war enthusiast decided to pick up the new open fire box,
After much pleading on my part he was kind enough to let me drool over the contents and here's what we got;
Tons of tanks even more infantry and check out this V1 flying bomb!
And you ACTUALLY get enough dice to play games with instead on just the 5 or 6 many producers provide.
Now back to painting those Russians...
